Meet Alex, our talented Web Developer with a knack for solving complex problems and streamlining processes. With over 15 years in the field, Alex attributes his passion for mathematics, science, and computing to his grandfather, an electrical engineer who first introduced him to coding. From humble beginnings coding on a TI calculator and creating websites for friends, Alex swiftly moved into a professional programming role by the age of 19. Now, after a decade with our company, he's most excited about empowering the team by designing efficient solutions and building dynamic websites. Being part of iVET360 allows him to combine his technical expertise with his love for pets, making a meaningful impact on the lives of animals and their owners.
Away from the keyboard, Alex is a self-proclaimed philosophy and theology enthusiast who loves immersing himself in books, especially the works of Tolkien. On weekends, you might find him scaling a rugged trail with his family, discovering new worlds in video games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring, or cheering on the Baltimore Orioles for an adrenaline-pumping baseball game. Despite his quiet demeanor, once you crack the surface, Alex is a lively conversationalist who delights in discussing everything from classic TV shows like The Twilight Zone to the deep philosophical musings of ancient texts. Also worth mentioning is his dual love for Chester's hot fries and dark chocolate, but an aversion to licorice.
Although Alex doesn't currently have any furry companions at home, he is an avid canine fan and dreams of adopting a dog someday soon. A friend to all four-legged creatures, Alex finds joy in the company of animals, especially dogs, and relishes the day he will own one that can join him on his hiking adventures. Until then, he channels his fondness for wolves—his favorite animal—by making a difference for pets through his work with iVET360.
