Outside of work, Ilyssa is a whirlwind of creativity, enjoying all things design and crafts. Whether it’s spending weekends on family bike rides, playing pretend games with her daughter Sloane, or uncovering treasures while thrifting, she finds joy in the little things. Ilyssa loves exploring the outdoors and getting hands-on with textile crafts and jewelry making. With a keen eye for interior design, she takes pleasure in crafting beautiful spaces. As she looks to the future, she’s eager to dive into the world of pottery and paper mache. However, you won’t find capers in her culinary creations!
While Ilyssa currently has no pets, she fondly remembers her soul pup, Oliver, who was her best friend for 13 wonderful years. Described as her firstborn, Oliver holds a special place in Ilyssa's heart. Ilyssa's dedication to pets comes from her deep appreciation of their ability to bring out the best in people and their incredible instinct for judging character.
