Meet Katie, our expert Director of Bookkeeping, who brings 15 years of formidable experience in the finance sector to iVET360. With an MBA under her belt and a passion for management, Katie thrives at the intersection of her love for numbers and an unwavering adoration for animals. In her role, she relishes the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, all united by a shared passion for animals and the intricacies of bookkeeping. Katie finds immense joy in solving the often puzzling world of bookkeeping and considers it a privilege to support the welfare of pets through her professional endeavors.
Outside the office, Katie is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys kayaking, hosting gatherings, and cooking up a storm for family and friends on her beloved hobby farm. Her weekends are a delightful blend of delicious meals, thrilling corn hole tournaments, lake adventures, and cheering on her favorite teams, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Mizzou Tigers. Known for her honesty, kindness, and infectious sense of humor, Katie is always ready to overfeed anyone who stops by—whether human or furry. She's got a playlist that ranges from classics to the latest hits, so there's never a dull moment in her life.
Katie's vibrant hobby farm is home to an eclectic fur (and feathered) family. Her oldest companion, Kiwi the dachshund, is fiercely loyal to her alone. There's Mila, a clever German Shepherd/Pittie mix with a soft spot for her best friends, a cat and a bunny. Waylon, the Cowboy Corgi, may be small but he commands attention with his bossy but sweet nature. Rescues Pablo and Sancho are endearing “working” dogs who are more about leisurely naps and avoiding the hunt. Among their feline trio, Dottie, Scarlett, and Miller each have their unique charms. Miller's resilience is legendary, having survived a growing-up adventure under a car hood! The farm also bustles with the cuteness of Moss the miniature donkey, Hedgey the hedgehog, and two opinionated peacocks, Reginald and Magnus, ruling over a lively flock of chickens and ducks. Finally, the bunnies, Holly Lopper and Honey Buney, complete this heartwarming family, making life on the farm as colorful and exciting as Katie's favorite hot pink.
